Alison Pogorelc is a third-year directing student at The New School Drama with particular interest in classical theater, music, and literature. Past assisting credits include: The Rake’s Progress, Le Nozze di Figaro, Vanessa, Così fan tutte (Mannes Opera); Hänsel und Gretel, L’incoronazione di Poppea (Berlin Opera Academy); The Echo Drift (Prototype Opera Festival).

In addition to her assisting work, Alison staged the Mannes Opera Graduate Scenes Program in 2017 and 2018. In 2016, she founded Red Lion Theatre Company in her hometown, Milwaukee, Wisconsin, and directed their production of Shakespeare’s Macbeth. Alison also adapted and directed The Silenced: One Acts by Harold Pinter with The New School’s Creative Cafe.
