Alexandra Miller

Alexandra Miller, a high school sophomore, is thrilled to be part of Bare Opera’s production of The Magic Flute.  Alexandra began taking voice lessons at age 9 but didn’t begin singing classical music until last year.  Prior to getting interested in classical voice, Alex was a competitive synchronized ice skater for 7 years.

She is currently a member of the Manhattan Girls Chorus where she studies under the direction of Michelle Oesterle.  Alexandra was a finalist in this year’s Hal Leonard Art Song Vocal Competition.  This summer, she will attend Interlochen School of the Arts to study classical voice.  Alex also enjoys performing in musical theatre, and some recent roles include Charlotte in 13 the Musical,  Kim McAfee in Bye Bye Birdie, Little Red in Into The Woods, and Flounder in The Little Mermaid.    Alex would like to thank Michelle Oesterle and Laetitia Ruccolo for this opportunity as well as her voice coach, Amelia DeMayo.
